Consultation Opens on Wangford Post Office Service
herese has today welcomed another positive step towards returning the Post Office service to Wangford.
A consultation has commenced about the opening times and days of the proposed new service and is ongoing until 19th April.
Therese said "it was disappointing that the plan to re-open the service last September fell through and I hope the proposed new service can go live later this month".
"I would urge residents from Wangford to respond to the consultation process by e-mailing – consultation@postoffice.co.uk or writing to the National Consultation Team, Post Office Limited, PO Box 1138, St Albans, AL1 9UN."
"The Government is providing £1.34 billion of funding over the spending review period to 2015 to modernise the Post Office network. It is so important that residents of rural communities get access to the Post Office service."
