Post Office Services Restored in Wangford and Walberswick
Therese has today reacted with delight at the news that both Wangford and Walberswick are set to have a Post Office outreach service.
Therese said "this is something I have been pressing the Post Office on for a long time and have raised it in the House of Commons with the Prime Minister. It is so important that residents of rural communities get access to the Post Office service.
"The opening dates are not yet confirmed but I am delighted that a nearby Post Office will provide the outreach service that Wangford and Walberswick so badly need".
Both branches will be open for four hours a day two days a week.
Therese added "this government have been clear that there will be no programme of Post Office closures, and is providing £1.34 billion of funding over the spending review period to 2015 to modernise the Post Office network."
