Therese welcomes Mike Penning as Rail Project Launches
Therese was pleased to welcome shipping Minister, Mike Penning to Felixstowe today to launch the new £40m portexpansion.
The third rail terminal will increase freight capacity at the port reducing the amount of lorry movements on the road.
Therese said "this is hugely important for the local economy as well as being a national asset, providing jobs and growth"
"I was pleased to assist the Minister in breaking the ground with a spade to mark the opening of the works"
