Therese only signs Early Day Motions on topics that she believes deserve more attention or recognition and where the Government is not already acting. The signing of EDMs does not ensure a debate happens in Parliament but they are a good way of drawing Ministers attention to a particular issue if the are not already doing something to tackle it.
